What we collect

We collect information you submit through our website or social-platform forms to help with your structure project and to follow up when you ask us to. We plan and sell online; we do not operate a customer showroom.

• Details about the structure you are pricing, such as type, approximate size, roof style, and colors.
• Your project location, taken from the ZIP code you enter.
• Your name when you request project help. Some forms require it; optional fields are marked.
• Your email address, phone number and preferred contact method when you ask us to contact you, or to send or save something for you. Required fields are identified on the form.
• Photos of your site, only if you choose to upload them.
• Basic usage information such as pages viewed, collected through website analytics.

What we do with it

We use your information to discuss your structure project, calculate and send an estimated price range, prepare an itemized quote when you ask for one, answer questions and maintain our project records. We use your selected contact method for project inquiries. If you request a phone call but leave no number, we may email you to ask for it. If you ask us to send your estimate by text or email, we use the contact detail you gave for that purpose.

We do not use your details for unrelated advertising, and we do not add you to an unrelated marketing list because you requested a price range or project help.

Social-platform inquiry forms

If you submit a form hosted by Meta, Meta processes the form under its own privacy terms and provides your submitted information to us. We use it to respond to the project inquiry you submitted. Submitting a project-help form does not enroll you in automated texts or calls.

Your mobile number

No mobile information collected when you opt in to receive text messages from us will be shared or sold to third parties or lead generators for any purpose. We use your mobile number to make a project call you requested, send messages you asked for, and reply to you. Providing a phone number while choosing email contact does not authorize us to text you.

Text messaging consent is never a condition of purchase. You can ask for your estimate by email instead, or keep configuring your structure without giving us any contact details at all.

Who else sees your information

We share your details only where it is needed to do the work you asked for:

• Service providers that host our website, store our data, send our email and text messages, process payments, and handle electronic signatures.
• The manufacturer of your structure, once you decide to move forward with an order, so it can be built and delivered.
• Where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while your project is active and for as long as we may need them for our records or to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your details, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@blueridgebarnandsteel.com or calling (864) 671-0081. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message we send you.

You can also write to us at Blue Ridge Barn and Steel, 8595 Pelham Rd, Suite 400 #532, Greenville, SC 29615. That is our mailing address — we sell and design online, so it is not a showroom and there is nothing to visit.

Children

Our website is meant for adults buying or researching structures. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
